Bible Believing Christian
Mike is a born again believer whose trust in God's word is unconditional. Consequently, driven by Biblical values he is a conservative. As a conservative Mike is running as Republican. In other words Mike is a Christian running as a Republican not a Republican who is a Christian. Having a strong desire to serve his community he has done, and will continue to do all in his power to display God's love. If re-elected, he will do his best to support those he serves.
Absolutely Pro Life
Mike strongly believes that life begins at conception. In the Declaration of Independence it states, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." The Constitution was written specifically to protect those rights. The "right to Life" is granted by the Creator and therefore protected under the Constitution. This is clearly stated in the God's Word. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you;” and in Psalm 139:16 declares, “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” If God formed us in the womb, and numbered our days before we were born, how can this be anything other than a God given life? Abortion is the worlds answer to the issue of sexual immorality, a condition created by the world. In the 2024 election, the chairman of the Republican platform committee removed "Pro Life" from the platform. She demonstrated that her political intentions are stronger than her Christian convictions, and she is now running for governor in Tennessee.
Strict Constitutionalist
Today the progressive world is pushing back on the constitutional rights of the American people. In particular, the First and Second Amendments are under attack and it is the desire of many progressive politicians to do away with out First Amendment freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom to peaceably assemble and freedom to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Further, these progressives desire to redefine and, ultimately, severely restrict the Second Amendment right of the people to keep and bear arms which, according to the Constitution, "shall not" be infringed.
The Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments are also under attack as patriots are violated by Federal Law enforcement for simply expressing the First and/or Second Amendment rights under the constitution. People, in the past few years, have been held indefinitely without bail, without representation and under abuse for peacefully protesting to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Mike feels that as a County we should strictly adhere the the axioms of our great Constitution and the Bill of Rights therein. Fayette County must stand up for those rights in all circumstances and defend them if required.

Conservative Republican
Mike's conservative views are driven by deeply held faith in God's word. Today many Republicans focus on big business, globalism and the world economy while giving lip service to things like American jobs, fiscal responsibility and America First. While Mike believes we must live and thrive in a global economy, he also believes we must live and thrive as an American economy, which starts right here in Fayette County Tennessee. He has worked diligently toward providing an environment in our county such that all residents have the greatest opportunity to live and thrive.
Veteran
Mike served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1977 at the North Truro Air Force Station in North Truro, Massachusetts. He worked as a Long Range Radar Technician on the AN/FPS-26 Radar. While there were no active conflicts during Mike's service, the Cold War still loomed ominously. He was able to achieve recognition by troubleshooting and correcting long standing issues with the FPS-26 Pulse Width Discriminator. This allowed the site overcome Electronic Warfare aircraft testing the ability of the FPS-26 to defeat jamming and accurately track incoming aircraft. Because of his skill and ability to generate repeatable processes, Mike was designated as the site training NCO for the FPS-26. He achieved the rank of E-4 and was honorable discharged in 1977 after 4 years of faithful service in the United States Air Force.
Small Farm Owner
In 2017 Mike and Denise moved from Massachusetts to Tennessee. They bought a 19 acre farm in a secluded part of Fayette County and, in 2021, retired from Dell to focus exclusively on the farm. Having been raised in the "Dairy Country" of South Louisiana and living in Texas for more than 30 years, Mike longed for the quiet peacefulness of a rural setting. Now having a stocked pond, a chicken house (Coop de Ville), and a fenced raised bed garden they are able to focus on the things which they've desired to have for many years. A peaceful rural farm life.
